WHAT IS A DEBEADER AND TOWING HEAD?

What is a debeader?
A debeader is a tool that helps remove this extra plastic from the inside (or outside) of the pipe after the pipes have been fused together. Think of it like a scraper or a tool that shaves off the excess, so the inside of the pipe is smooth again. This is important because a smooth inside means water, gas, or whatever flows through the pipe can move easily without any blockages.

What is a towing head?
It is a device used when you need to pull a long, heavy pipe through a trench or a tunnel. After the pipes are fused together, they need to be moved into position, which can be quite a challenge because they are often large and heavy.

The towing head is like a strong connector or a hitch that attaches to the end of the pipe. It’s similar to how you would hook up a trailer to a car. The towing head makes it easier to pull the pipe along, whether by hand, a machine, or a vehicle. It ensures that the pipe stays securely attached and doesn’t get damaged while being moved into place.
